This innovative alliance offers college scholarship opportunities for Club members participating in the BGCA Latino Outreach Initiative. Working with both parents and young people, the alliance reinforces the message that entering and graduating from college are very achievable goals. Most importantly, the HSF/SBGC partnership addresses the fact that securing a college education is critical to a successful future. In this new alliance HSF conducts interactive workshops at our clubs which are part of the Latino Outreach Initiative. The weekly sessions, titled “My Future, My Choice, My Education”, provide information and support to help youth navigate their way from middle school to high school to college and on to successful professional careers. It also offers opportunities for scholarships and enrichment programs for high achieving youth.
