TEENS
SHOUT (Striving to Heighten Outcomes by Uniting Teens) with the support of the Salesian Family Youth Center in Boyle Heights was founded in 2007. Our mission is to have High School students develop a positive outlook on education, improve willingness to engage in school and learning, as well as improve their overall academic performance. SHOUT provides free afterschool academic enrichment and recreational activities such as tutoring, Cyber Patriot, Flokorico, Outsiders Club, STEM clubs, and English Learning Clubs amongst many other clubs, that enable youth to be academically successful and become great leaders in their community.

TEEN PROGRAMS
Our focus is to help students learn, review content with them, explaining how to solve problems and check completed work. Our tutors also help students develop study skills and organization techniques to help improve their academic performance.
We believe students should have access to college courses. Our after school programs team up with local community colleges and community partners to provide students with college courses so they may earn college credits.

Our after school programs have a strong need to serve our english learners at our school sites. This is why we provide programs like Rosetta Stone, Language in Action, and other support programs where our students can practice their english skills.
Our after school programs push our students to keep pushing into the future and we do this by providing innovating STEM Programs. We offer Cyber Patriot, 3D Printing, STEM Works, Skills USA, and Robotics programs.

Our after school programs motivate our students to develop social skills, and make new friends through our education enrichment programs. Some of the programs we offer are Drivers education, Anime Club, Pride Alliance, Outdoors Club, Music Club, among many other opportunies!
Our after school programs believe that all our students should have access to physical activities to promote Health & Wellness. We are proud to provide our students free access to our own after school gym. We also offer program like VIBE Mental Health, Sports Leagues, Anti-Drug Programs, and dance activities among many other opportunities!
